Cassie Foster is a Production Engineer at Chord Energy supporting operations in the Williston Basin. Her work focuses on artificial lift optimization, production enhancement, well reliability, and workover execution. She began her career as a frac engineer before transitioning into in-house engineering roles supporting multiple operators, giving her experience across both completions and production disciplines. Cassie has worked extensively on artificial lift performance, downhole failure analysis, workover optimization, and initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and improving operating efficiency. She works closely with field operations, service companies, and technical teams to optimize ESP, rod lift, and gas lift systems while improving equipment reliability and workover economics. Cassie currently serves on the API SC11 Subcommittee, 11B/BR task groups, contributing to industry standards related to production equipment and artificial lift. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2013.
