Jeff Clack

Jeff Clack is a Senior Production Engineer with ConocoPhillips and has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His career spans production operations, artificial lift design and optimization, field leadership, production optimization, and well surveillance across the Permian Basin and recently the Bakken and Eagle Ford. Jeff has held roles ranging from various service company positions to Lease Operator and Artificial Lift Foreman to Production Engineer, providing him with a unique perspective on both field execution and engineering strategy.

In his current role, he supports artificial lift design and optimization, production surveillance, failure analysis, and operational improvement efforts with a focus on maximizing well performance and reliability. Jeff has extensive experience with rod lift, gas lift, plunger lift, production automation, and real-time optimization platforms. He is passionate about artificial lift design, production optimization, equipment reliability, and developing practical, operator-focused solutions that improve production performance, operational efficiency, and long-term asset value. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Technology from the University of Texas Permian Basin in 2013. Outside of work, he spends most of his time following his wife and daughter around West Texas and beyond as they compete in barrel races and rodeos.
