Herd Department of Petroleum Engineering’s Oilfield Technology Center from 5:00–6:00 PM to meet faculty and company representatives and learn more about this one-of-a-kind educational and research facility. The Texas Tech University Oilfield Technology Center (OTC) is located at 1051 E. Loop 289, Lubbock, TX 79403. Situated on 10 acres near the intersection of East Loop 289 and 4th Street, this Bob L. Herd Department of Petroleum Engineering facility serves as a hands-on research and teaching site featuring a 4,000-foot deep test well. |
