Jeff started his oil field career in 2010 with FESCO and shortly after moved to the operator side as a roustabout and relief pumper for Welhausen Operating, a small production company in South Texas. When Welhausen sold to a larger company, Jeff rejoined several colleagues from FESCO at Marathon Oil where he began to learn more and more about different artificial lift methods.
While at Marathon he focused primarily on rod lift design, automation, optimization, and failure analysis. After Marathon Jeff worked for several operators and vendors while continuing to focus on artificial lift methods, but his primary focus has been Rod Lift. Jeff joined Surge Energy in 2019 as a Senior Artificial Lift Specialist where he continues to work today.
