Jet Pump

Top Ten Challenges In Jet Lift Production Operations and the Solutions Successfully Implemented in Producing Oil Wells In the South Texas Region

Jet lift systems have earned a strong reputation as an effective artificial lift method for unconventional oil well production across the most prolific hydrocarbon-producing regions in the United States of America. In prolific reservoirs such as the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford, and Bakken, operators have successfully utilized jet lift as the primary lifting method for challenging oil wells. Additionally, operators in the Eagle Ford Basin have consistently employed jet lift as the main production technique for their wells.

Unconventional Well Production Using Jet Pump

This two-day training has been designed to provide basic foundational knowledge on jet pump systems. Participants will receive technical information and experience-based knowledge that will help them on the selection of the proper jet pump equipment, installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization. This training was conceived for production engineers, lease operators, oilfield pumpers, field production personnel, operations personnel and similar roles in the oil and gas industry.

(2024025) Long Term Jet Lift

Jet lift is often seen as a short-term solution or last case lift by many users. In this paper we will give an example of how jet lift is used as a long-term form of lift and highlight the benefits of using a downhole jet pump in horizontal wells with high decline rates. Please note that the term jet lift is used to describe the whole lift system while jet pump is used to describe the downhole pump.
